A New Chapter

In July of 2026, the Skinner family, owners of Press-Seal Corporation in Fort Wayne, Indiana, purchased Jasper Rubber Products, Inc.
Press-Seal is a third-generation, family-owned-and-operated rubber gasket and connector sealing manufacturer founded in 1954. This is not a financial owner. This is a rubber company buying a rubber company—a company run by people who came up through the mixing room and press line.
The plant’s equipment, its compound library, its tooling, and—most importantly—its workforce are being brought back, not broken up. Customers who moved tooling out during its shutdown are welcome back, and the door is open to new work.
